When you sign up you will get text when practice/meets are canceled or delayed. I think a good rule of thumb is practice/meets are on until you get a text or email saying they are off. Coaches try to give as much notice as possible. In general, swim events will only be canceled if it is thundering/lightning or if it is raining so hard the bottom of the pool is not visible.
