Hey Gators!

It's hard to believe that our season is coming to a close. I think a lot of us realized that today was our last actual practice, and it was a sad moment! We've had a great time getting to know everyone and seeing our kids grow in their skills and teamwork.

PICTURES - Pictures are this Monday 6/28 at 9:15am. If you would like individuals done of your kids, arrive at 9:15am. The group picture will be at 10am to allow everyone time to arrive and get lined up. Individual pictures will be available again after the group one is done. Have your child dressed in their suit and wear their green Gators shirt over it. They can wear shorts, too, if they'd like. Because pictures take up at lot of time, we will not be having an organized practice on Monday. Your kids are allowed to jump in and swim a bit after all pictures are done, but that includes the individuals. We don't want splashing kids in the background of people's shots! :) You are responsible for watching your child if they do choose to swim after pictures. The coaches are not watching/lifeguarding for any free play. The pictures will not be available to be picked up by the party, but they will be sent to my house (The Barclays). I will stay in touch with all of you regarding that, and give you my address for pick-up when they arrive. I would assume they'd be in by the second week of July.

PARTY - Our end of the season party is Friday 7/2 at 6pm. We will do a potluck-style dinner. For dessert, we will continue our tradition of the Gator Cake Contest! If you'd like to participate, make a dessert that is themed for the Gators/swimming. The coaches will judge the desserts before we serve them.

Your kids are allowed to swim, so bring their suits and towels!

We will have an awards ceremony after we eat. The coaches will take some time to talk over the highlights of the season and present the awards to the team.
