Hey Gator Family,

I wanted to give you an update for swim this summer. I have been handing out sponsor flyers in the Kennesaw area, but not one has committed to sponsor us yet. It's been discouraging to say the least. I've had a lot of encouraging words from managers and companies, but no one has followed through to support us. We are still going to continue on with our season and pray that the funds come in to cover the summer. My kids and I are doing a bake sale in the neighborhood on Saturday to bring in some extra cash. I encourage you all to find some way to help raise some money for our beloved team! We still have the option of doing a car wash fundraiser in the clubhouse parking lot, but it won't be until after the season starts. Wes is also looking into hosting a pickleball tournament. If you have any other ideas, please let me know! 

Another very important point--In order to have our team be eligible as a CSSL (Cobb Summer Swim League) team, we have to have 50 competing swimmers on the roster before our first meet which is May 29th. That means kids who can swim in meets (not counting rookies). We currently have 17. If you haven't signed back up yet, please do so soon!
