Culver's Share Night and Swim-A-Thon Info

    SWIM-A-THON

    As a fundraiser for our team, we will be hosting a Swim-A-Thon on Tuesday, June 16th. This is where your child asks friends and family to sponsor them with an amount per lap (ex: $1). The coaches will set a time limit for each age group, and the kids will swim as many laps as they can during that time. We'll need you as parents to help out with counting your child's laps. We'll have prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of each age group. 5-6s will not be participating in this event. However, at the end we will have fun day swim from 11am-12pm, so bring your 5-6s to enjoy some time in the pool and popsicles! Each group will have a 30 minute slot. Within that 30 minutes, we'll divide it into two 15 minute segments. This way, everyone has space to swim.

    7-8s- 9-9:30am

    9-10s-9:30-10am

    11-12s- 10-10:30am

    13-18s-10:30-11am

    Here is another fun opportunity to raise money for our team! Culver's in Kennesaw is allowing us to come for a Share Night. Here is the info on it from our website:

    We have an exciting opportunity to do some fundraising at Culver's. They host fundraising nights called Share Nights. We have been accepted to do a share night with them on Tuesday, June 2nd from 5-8pm.

    Share Night Fundraiser Guidelines

    Culver’s goes to great lengths to give back charitably and we are excited to partner with you. We value the hard work you invest in your cause and it would be our pleasure to assist with your donation raising efforts.

    Volunteers and engagement--Participation is the key to holding a successful Share Night. Once a date and time is agreed upon, we ask that you begin sharing the details with everyone in your organization, family members, friends, social media platforms, email lists, etc.

    -Volunteers should arrive at the restaurant 15 minutes (4:45pm) prior to the start of the Share Night. This gives us some time to orientate the kids: have them wash their hands, explain their roles, and get them set up with an apron. Volunteers 10 AND YOUNGER NEED TO BE ACCOMPAINED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES. Volunteers will be used for cleaning tables and chairs in the dining room, running orders to guests in the dining room and drive-thru, and also as greeters to welcome/thank/and inform guests about the organization.

    -More than 10 kids would be hard to keep track of. However, you could also give the kids shifts: have one group run from 5-6pm, one group run from 6-7pm, and one group run from 7-8pm.

    -Clothing for the event should be appropriate work attire. We also ask that all of the volunteers dress similarly so that guests know they are with the organization hosting the Share Night. (We will wear our team shirts)

    - Open toed footwear will not be permitted. Closed toed shoes must be worn by all volunteers.

    -All participants with hair longer than shoulder length will be asked to tie it back because they will be delivering food to our guests.

    -Please put away cell phones, food and drinks while you are working.

    Your donation total depends on participation.
